What Causes Tenderness In Nipples And Burning Inside Vagina During Periods?

When I'm on my period, I'm always in the mood for sexual activities. But when I'm not on my period, I'm not really in the mood. My nipples get really tender and when my boyfriend tries to touch the inside of my vagina, it burns. This only happens when I'm not on my period. Could this be something?
