What Causes Tenderness Of The Penis With White Discharge?

My husband and I had sexual intercourse but right after that his penis hole started to close and now it appears it is closed. He says he can urinate and then it opens but he says it's been tender for a week and it's a whitish color on the hole and a little redness around the head.
