What Causes Tenderness On The Back Of Neck Along With Dizzy Spells?

For about the last 6-8 weeks I have been experiencing tenderness in back of neck in soft area beneath skull on the right side. It does not necessary ache or feel tender when doing nothing, but more so when turning my head. Along with this I ve also been experiencing a somewhat foggy feeling, almost dizzy at times and a light headache and just don t feel sharp. After experiencing this, I saw my personal physician and also had a full physical performed with full blood work and all blood work came back within range. My physician felt it could be due to stress and informed to keep an eye on it and if it persisted to go back and see him. About a week after my physical and doctor visit, I then came down with something. Started in sinus area and had a sore throat for about two days and then it went to my chest and head while producing mostly a dry cough with some clear phlemg. I then became extremely fatigued and during some of the days following these symptoms, there were some nights I woke up in a drenching sweats, but have not had a fever. Sweats continue, but I do not notice this every morning. Due to the extreme fatigue with this I was thinking I came down with the flu...then went to a med clinic and they swabbed my nose and said no flu, but thought upper respiratory infection and I took 10 day amoxicillian. Did not feel better afterwards...with symptoms still continuing. Saw personal physician and he gave me another 10 day antibiotic ceftin and also nose spray and said let s not go on a wild goose chase with this yet. I am nearing the end of my second 10 day antibiotic regimen and symptoms still persist...mostly the tenderness in the back of the neck, foggy feeling, light sweats off and on. I am getting concerned and plan to go back to physican for 3rd time. Any thoughts? thx
