What Causes The Feeling Of Blockage In Ears While Swallowing?

I m not to hear properly from my left ear. I did MRI scan and consulted a doc, she said my ear nerve is weak as the MRI scan showed no object stuck in the ear. I never had infection in this ear. Issue is when I swallow, I feel something is getting blocked in my left ear. Please advice for further treatment! Thanks!
