What Causes The Feeling Of More Air Passage In Ear?

I was cleaning my left ear canal with a Q-tip and I hit a sensitive part. At first it hurt, but the pain cleared. I can still val salva and release pressure to both ears, but it feels like there's more of an opening and thus more air passing through. Have I busted my ear drum?
