What Causes The Feeling Of Nausea With Mucus In Throat?

Hi I have mucus in my throat, and feel nausea but I never throw up, and just yesterday I had fever 100.4 but now I don t I went to my family doctor he prescribed Amoxicillin 875mg tablets. what do you think I think that does drugs do not math with what I have. and are quite dangerous.
