What Causes The Lack Of Feeling Of Strings To The Coil?

hi there i visited my local family planning as i couldnt feel my strings to my coil he looked and couldnt see it , also i think he might of damaged me trying to find it as i said if he saw it to take it out as id rather have it out than not know where it was
