What Causes The Nipples To Turn Green?

My girlfriends nipples are green in colour and they looked cracked. She said she has had them since a holiday in Greece in 2006. She's not pregnant and there isn't any discharge and sadly she has severe anxiety, so going to a doctor is out of the question sadly.

do you have any suggestions on how we could improve this without anti-biotics? Thanks.
