What Causes Thick White And Doubled Semen Amount After Quitting Smoking?

Hello. My husband quit smoking about 3 months ago in order for us to have a better chance to conceive. This past week, his semen has been very thick and white and doubled in amount when he ejaculates, and he says his testicles feel bigger and under pressure(almost painful). He drinks plenty of water throughout the day and doesn t drink alcohol or smoke anymore. Is this change in semen volume and consistency because of smoking cessation?
