What Causes Thick White Vaginal Discharge After Sex?

my boyfriend wants to be celibate and although i don't agree i have to respect his wishes. I started to masturbate (daily) and Ive notice that there is a clumpy thick white discharge building up... i see it through the day after i clean up. Well tonight we had sex (yay) the discharge came out like lotion clumpy white lotion it didn't have a odor but it was extremely thick! is this something to be alarmed about?
