What Causes Throat Itching Along With Swelling Under Eyes?

It started out with a sore itchy throat, popped ears, and swelling under the eyes. I know have scabs around my eyes on both sides. I went to the ER and they said it almost looks like a burn. It burns like someone just lit my face on fire. Do you have any idea what this might be? It is starting to make the corner of my eye sting, like I am leaving it open too long.
