What Causes Throat Lumps With Weight Loss, Dizziness And Headaches?

This may sound so pathetic but I genuinely think I may have cancer, I have been referred to see a gastroenterologist due to drastic weight loss and other things such as dizziness and permanent headaches but their are also a lot of lumps at the back of my throat the doctor didn't check, l don't want to sound pathetic when I go to the hospital appointment but will they check for cancers whilst I am there?
