What Causes Throat Pain After Sneezing In A Child?

My child sneezes SO loudly. When he does his throat hurts him snd eyes water. He's on allergy meds already. It seems to be the last couple of months he has started sneezing with such force. What can I do to help him? Since it hurts his throat after the sneeze; it has me a little worried.
