What Causes Throat Pain After Taking CZ Plus For Cold And Fever?

I had cold and fever from few days. I took cz plus capsules and was feeling ok.i do not have fever anymore but from past 2 days my throat is paining. Muscus is coming out during cough but Its painful to swallow anything.The exact point of disturbance is just where the tounge ends, the uper and lower part of that entire region is paining and the throat. My dad suggested me few medicines (Nukast-10, Montek-Le-10).Please suggest me some better ones plz if these donot work . Thank you.
