What Causes Throat Tightness And Irritation?

I have been having issues for a while with my throat, it always feels like something is stuck in there. I have tried everything such as honey water, alergy meds and drinking all the time. I can not get it to go away. I love to sing and it is such a bother to me. Its difficult to swallow.
