What Causes Throbbing Pain At The Back Of My Skull?

hi, i have been getting headaches in the back of my skull recently they are always in the same spot and when i felt the area i noticed a small dent in the same spot as the headaches when i apply slight pressure to the area and rub it it eases the pain but it takes awhile to completely go away i was wondering if this is a serious or unusual issue.
