What Causes Throbbing Pain At The Back Of Upper Thigh?

Hi i have a throbbing ache/pain where the top of my left thigh meets my buttock, i have no back or leg pain........i have not injured myself in any way......i did have bad bursitis on my hip/outer top of thigh last year but sawa physio and it felt better.....can you please advise, thanks Lee
