What Causes Throbbing Pain In The Upper Chest And Throat?

I just saw my doctor this week for throbbing pain in upper chest and throat- hurts when I breathe. He said I had pleurisy and gave me a steroid shot. I felt better for about 3 days but mow my throat is throbbing painfully and hurts to take deep breaths. Should I return to doctor- was I misdiagnosed?
