What Causes Thyroid Cysts?

I am 11 weeks pregnant. I have an enlarged thyroid w/ 2 cysts on the right side and one on the left. This was discovered during my first prenatal visit. I saw an endocrinologist and my TSH is 0.267 and T4 is 6.6; my antibodies are 0.5. Is the T4 normal for prenancy? What could be the cause of the cysts?
