What Causes Tick Bite-like Marks On Arm?

hi iv'e got like bits near my ankles and got a couple on my arm but iv'e got about 4 new ones pop up and all of the spots are itchy could they be some sort of bites or something to do with the washing powder im using as it started just after started ysing it
