What Causes Tickle In Throat,dryness And Vomiting?

My wife i suffering from this aliment since last 3 months post delivery of baby. She feels a tickle in her throat, the throat goes bone dry and ultimately she pukes. Earlier the frequency of this was once in 3 days but now this is happening almost daily. She feels the tickle in her throat every 30 mins and coughs very hard.
