What Causes Tight Vaginal Opening Post Anterior And Posterior Repair?

My vagina was tightened after A&P repair without my consent. The doctor said wait a few weeks and your husband will be very happy, We rarely had sex after surgery and had no sex the last 10 years of our marriage which ended in divorce last year. The opening is way too tight and inside it feels like I m being stabbed with a knife in certain areas. Is there any surgery that can make the vaginal opening larger and numb the sensitive areas? I don t want to spend the rest of my life alone.
