What Causes Tightening And Soreness Of Stomach?

I feel like the inside of my abdominal wall is detaching. It comes and go. I was bent over putting lotion on my legs and all of a sudden my stomach tightened up and one side bulged out and severe pain hit me to where it almost paralyzed me in my spot to where I almost couldn t stand up straight. Could this be some kind of hernia?
