What Causes Tingling At The Top Of Head After An Injury?

I hit my head on a fire extinguisher pretty hard 2 days ago right above my temple. I went to my doctor for evaluation je sent me home, my headache got wise so I went back again and he said it's a sensitive area, so I went home again. I have felt extremely tired the last few days and am now having some sort of tingling at the top right of my head with a series of sharp on and off pains. Should I be concerned?
