What Causes Tingling In Finger After Resuming Weight Training?

Hi Doctor,
I recently (2 months ago) resumed weight training after a 5 year hiatus. About 2 weeks ago, I started feeling numb and tingly in my middle and ring finger of my right hand and this is still happening. I went to the gym this morning and could not do a 10 kg bench press effectively as my right arm was about 50% weaker. I normaly bench 50kg with ease. Is this indicative of nerve damage? Please advise.

Regards,
Jackson.
