What Causes Tingling In Forearm With History Of Rotator Cuff Surgery?

Hi - my forearm has been tingling to the point of pain for about a week now. Also - it appears to be blotchy red under the skin - the rash is not on the top of the skin. Also -- I have been rather itchy. Benadryl has helped the all over body itching but nothing is helping this tingling on the forearm. FYI - I had surgery on this arm's shoulder on Dec 5 - rotator cuff repair - but I called the Ortho surgeon and they do not think it has anything to do with the rotator cuff surgery. I was diagnosed with shingles in my 30's. I'm 57 now.
