What Causes Tingling In Hands And Feet Along With Distended Abdomen?

My fiancé is a 40 yr. old male with no prior health problems and having several symptoms: tingling in his hands and feet, distended abdomen, pain in groin on the right side, when he is still things aren t so bad. Said he feels like there is a pocket of fluid in his groin area, last night he had a blotchy rash on his chest. He has had x-rays, blood work, CT-Scan, and an echo cardiogram done. He is really scared and is starting to become paranoid and not sure what to do. This all started back in November after he received an pneumonia shot. But this past month it has got to the point were he said his legs are losing muscle tone and he would step down it felt like his tendons were going to tear.
