What Causes Tingling Sensation In Jaw?

I have tingling in the left side of my jaw. It isn't painful, just tingles. When I touch it though it feels like the pulse in my neck. This worries me some because I have dilated cardiomyopathy & worry a heart attack may be coming. I also have poor dental hygiene, so not sure if it's related to that. Should I go to the hospital?
