What Causes Tingling Sensation On The Top Of Head?

I have been having a tingling sensation on the top left of my head on and off for the past month or so. It doesnt hurt. no pain. Just a aggrivating tingling senasation. It goes away in time. And if i apply pressure to the area it goes away for a short period then returns. Please help, its aggrevating me to death.
