What Causes Tinnitus While Suffering From Labyrinthitis?

Hi. I have ad labyrinthitis for over eight weeks now. I still can t drive and I still feel drunk all the time. I have had heavy, wooshing sounds in my left ear that has gotten worse in the last few days. I can hear my heartbeat all the time in my ear but it goes away when I press on my neck under my ear. I am not due to see the ENT for another three weeks for the results of the MRI and balance test. Should I go to my GP about the wooshing or is it normal?
