What Causes Tinnitus With A Bout Of Cytomegalovirus?

Been diagnosed and fighting cytomegalovirus for about a month now. No bid deal. Its a virus and I m recovering nicely. One thing drives me crazy though is the tinitus that started with the virus. My lymph nodes have been swollen since I had the virus. Everything I read on the internet about tinitus is depressing. In my case, since it came suddently at the same time as CMV, is it fair to hope tinitus will go away when lymph nodes go back to normal once they put the virus back at its place?
