What Causes Tinnitus With Ear Pressure?

've never really had this problem before as my ears are always clean. I'm suffering from strange crackling crunching sounds in my ears there is light pressure on the ear/jaw joint area near side my face where i open and close my jaw and if i touch the outside of my ear it sounds like paper scrunching inside it is almost like you have water in the back of your ears you want to get out.
