What Causes Tiny Dry Patches On Hands During Stress?

Hi. When I'm really stressed out I end up with these tiny dry patches that are about the size of a dime. I don't know what they are but they appear on my hands. They don't itch or anything but, they're kind of embarrassing. Any clue to what they are?
