What Causes Tiredness Along With Cravings For Salty Food?

I am really sleepy tired morning, noon and night lately...as well as craving salty or sweet foods. The food cravings, I can control but being so tired that my eyes literally want to close is difficult. What would cause this? I sleep about 6 hrs a night, and always have.
