What Causes Traces Of Blood In Spit And Ear Ache?

Hi - I occassionally notice a metallic taste in my mouth and when I spit see small traces of blood. This has happened twice or three times over the past few months. I also seem to have low grade ear ache or stuffy ear on and off and pain down left side of nose and above my eyebrow. Should I be worried. I'm an ex smoker
