What Causes Twitching Eye In A Coma Patient?

My brother was found in a coma with eyes wide open unable to move . The hospital is draining fluid from his brain . One day after he was found I seen him blink his eyes . One eye is open but blank . I also saw him twitch . Do you think these things are progress ? Will he recover ?
