What Causes Twitching In The Temple Area & Dryness Of Mouth?

There is a twitch in my left temple that has been bothering me for about a couple of weeks now. It happens in short bursts that happen a couple of times, but only occur every little while. I have also been waking up with a horribly dry mouth to the point where I need immediate hydration.
