What Causes Twitching In The Temple?

Hi, I was wondering if you can please help me. My temples on both side twitch as though there is something crawling under my skin. I have not been to the doctor but I am getting very concerned. I am a female, 33 years old. I have had this on and off twitching every day for the past 2 months.
