What Causes Twitching Of Hand?

Hi, My right hand has been twitching (mainly between thumb and index finger) for over a week now. It is painless but uncomfortable. It can be mild/hardly noticeable or sometimes my index finger jerks quite a bit. It happens several times during the day anywhere from a couple minutes to hours and when I am trying to sleep. Should I be worried?
