What Causes Twitching,itching And Watering Of Right Eye?

My right eye has started twitching almost like a spasm or contraction. I am a physical therapist and my eyes have been bothering me lately with irritation, watery, itching, etc. to the point I don't wear eye make up. I know I need to see eye doctor but this contracting has been bothering me the past two days and is continually worsening.Sheila YYYY@YYYY
