What Causes Two Cord-like Lines Running Along My Penis Shaft That Is Sometimes Itchy, Sore, Or Tight?

I have what feels.like two lines, almost like chords, running along the penis shaft next to the urethra. They start all the way in the pelvis where they disappear into my body. They run the length along the urethra internally all the way to the head. Almost like they run along the corpus cavernosa. Sometimes they itch, sometimes sore, sometimes tighter , sometimes they almost go away. But they were not always there. Started a few years ago. Any idea what this is and what caused it?
