What Causes Uncontrollable Shaking Of Body During Sleep?

I shake uncontrollably at times during sleep, which wakes me. There is no pain or sweating or any other symptom attached to this problem and it doesn t happen every night. It is easily stopped once I become aware of it, but as it is becoming more frequent, I m wondering if there is a problem. I m a 64 year old female.
