What Causes Uneven Skin Tone Of The Body?

I have a uneven skin colour, my skin are both light and dark and i am embrassed to show itand i tired that i cant wear ssomething other wear because i have two skin color and where i live there are not much cream that good or even help, because i have try a lot of cream but one of they helped.
I will really appreciate it if you can help
