What Causes Unresolved Longstanding Skin Infection Around Nose?

I have a skin infection on and around my nose. Doc gave me Bactroban nasal ointment and Minocycline for it, about a week ago, hence it's starting to clear. This is not the first time I've had to treat this, it is recurrent and for the past 2 occassions have used Tetralysal and Zineryt lotion. But of late I have noticed something strange... I am developing a linear cluster of pimples that is progressing downwards, between my nose bridge and left cheek... It started as one spot near the eye, now I am counting 7 spots with the furthest being at the same level as my nostril. What is it I have? Could the infection have affected a nerve? Will this it ever clear?
