What Causes Unusual Smelling,dry Mouth And Nausea?

Periodically,I have been sensing a smell that is similar to someone getting a perm . It occurs at home and has also occurred in a group setting. Symptoms are: very dry mouth, nausea (one night I threw up in my sleep - not normal for me_), if I bend down it feels similar to vomiting through the nose and the upper portion of my nose feels very strange. I also feel disoriented.
