What Causes Unusual Taste Back Of Throat And Sore Throat?

I have this fishy nasty taste comes up in the back of my throat several times a day. It has been like this for the past 5 month. I had a terrible sore thorat and cough 5 months ago, that s when the taste started. It getting worse now. Please help! Thanks a bunch!
