What Causes Upper Chest Pain After Falling In The Face?

I fell a week ago today...fainted and did a face plant on my kitchen floor...30 stitches in my chin which came out yesterday...but that didn t bother me its my upper chest pain from left to right across the brest bone...my breasts do not hurt..no bruising...but sharp pain everywhere else 6 inches in width...taking lots of tylenol...anything else i can do and how long will this last...I am a nightshift resident care aide..so lots of lifting on my job...know I can not go back yet
