What Causes Vaginal And Urethral Bleeding Post Menopause?

I have post menopausal bleeding from my vagina.My doctor has looked at this and has scheduled an ultra sound.However I am also experiencing bleeding from my urethra.She does not seem concerned about this but I am.are these two related somehow or are they separate issues?
