What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Appendix Removal?

Hello, I had my appendix removed last Wednesday and now I have vaginal bleeding every time I go to pee, it is not my period as I'm not due for another two weeks so I am wondering if this is normal or should I go back to the hospital. Could it be internal bleeding?
