What Causes Vaginal Bleeding After Having Intercourse With History Of Yeast Infection?

I have a friend who had a yeast infection. After a couple of days she thought it cleared up because the discharge went away. Although a few days after she had intercourse and began to bleed. What do you believe caused the bleeding? Would it be from the yeast infection or her cherry being poped?
